High Falls Furniture Co. Finishes

The distressed paint finishing process is signature to the High Falls Furniture product line.  The seven-step process is hand-applied and hand-tooled to create authentic looking aged paint.  To the left is a small selection of available colors and counter top materials.  Any selection from the Benjamin Moore color palette can be utilized into a distressed paint finish.  Typically, a neutral brown color called "natural" is used for a base color underneath the crackle. However, any color can be selected for a base color to create a unique two-toned effect.
(Popular examples of this include: black over light blue, white over olive, cream over orange, olive over cream)
The amount of paint distressing can be varied depending on customer preference.
(regular distressing, light distressing, heavy distressing, or non distressed paint)

There are many choices of reclaimed wood tops which vary in color, tone, and texture, including:  Reclaimed Hemlock, Reclaimed Oak, Reclaimed Douglas Fir.  In addition to counter tops, furniture and mirrors can be made entirely from reclaimed wood.
Metal tops can be fabricated in any size and up to 3 inches thick.
Copper and Zinc patinas can be adjusted for color variation and contrast.
Counter tops typically are sealed with oil or clearcoat, then given a paste wax topcoat.
